After hours of treatment, the Academy Award-winning “Monster” actress stepped out with a hat on - unwilling to offer up a glimpse of her new hairstyle.

Meanwhile, Charlize is getting ready to start filming a brand new movie called “The Danish Girl”. According to industry reports, the film is based on the true story of Danish artists Einar and Greta Wegener, who “come to national attention when the husband Elnar (Kidman) gets the world’s first sex change operation, in 1931.”

Co-starring “Eyes Wide Shut” actress Nicole Kidman, the movie will be based on David Ebershoff’s best-selling novel, which was a fictionalized account of the true story.
